Event Location
Western Development Museum Moose Jaw
Join us for our first annual Fall Feast on Friday, November 6, a special evening of prairie hospitality, food, music and storytelling in the WDM’s Aviation Gallery. Surrounded by aircraft that once flew over Saskatchewan skies, guests will enjoy a traditional harvest-style turkey supper with all the fixings catered by High Regard Catering, followed by an intimate concert with acclaimed Saskatchewan singer-songwriter Jeffery Straker and his trio.
Arrive early to explore the Museum after hours, meet WDM volunteers sharing stories alongside some of our favourite artifacts and enjoy special activities and photo opportunities throughout the galleries. The evening will also feature our Prairie Pie Contest, Silent Auction, Penny Parade and door prizes.
Following supper and dessert, settle in for approximately an hour of live music and storytelling with Jeffery Straker, whose warm, engaging performances and prairie roots make him a natural fit for an evening celebrating community, history and home.
Doors open at 5:30 pm, with welcome remarks at 6:00 pm and supper beginning around 6:30 pm. Live entertainment will follow later in the evening, with Fall Feast wrapping up by approximately 10:00 pm.
Tickets are $60 + taxes, or $45 + taxes for WDM members and volunteers, and include supper, dessert and live entertainment. Additional fundraising opportunities will be available throughout the evening.
All proceeds support WDM Moose Jaw programs and exhibitions.
Good food. Good stories. Good company. Come gather with us at Fall Feast.
