Fall Bucket List 2023

If you’re anything like me and you look forward to fall all year long, then Moose Jaw is a great destination for you!

  1. A Walk Through Wakamow Valley - No autumn trip to Moose Jaw is complete without a walk in the gorgeous Wakamow Valley! The trees are every shade of yellow, orange, and red and the leaves crunch under your feet as you walk through the peaceful valley. There are tons of trails throughout Wakamow and they’re all worth checking out!

  2. Just A Girl In Her Gardens’ Autumn Workshops - Just A Girl In Her Garden is offering autumn workshops where you can make your own fall flower arrangements inside a ceramic or real pumpkin! They make perfect centerpieces for your Thanksgiving table and it’s a great way to spend time with your friends!

  3. Glamping at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park - Glamping Resorts Ltd offer a variety of accommodations on the North Shore of Buffalo Pound Provincial Park. You can watch the seasons change from the comfort of your dome tent and enjoy walks on the beach and through the trails, picnics in the cool autumn air, and private firepit and bbq areas!

  4. Take a Clay Class or Attend an Event at artisaNGrounds - artisaNGrounds offers weekly clay classes on Thursdays at 6:00 pm, or you can attend one of their special events like their Mugs & Monsters Party (Oct 11), Beetlejuice Bowls Party (Oct 16), or their Murder Mystery Paint Party (Oct 25)!

  5. Update Your Wardrobe & Decor for Fall in Downtown Moose Jaw - Downtown Moose Jaw is absolutely full of shops and boutiques where you can get everything you need to be cozy and on trend this fall! For clothing and shoes I recommend Cranberry Collective Boutique, Clothes Encounter, Gemmell’s Shoes, and ShadeofJay Warehouse! For decor I recommend Jillian’s Design Elements, Just A Girl In Her Garden, The Perfect Find, Untamed Blooms & Botanicals, and the Yvette Moore Gallery!

  6.  Try Pumpkin Spice Everything - Fall is pumpkin spice season, and many of Moose Jaw’s cafes offer delicious treats! Evolve Coffee makes their own pumpkin spice syrup, which you can enjoy in a latte, or in some of their baking! The Hive Espresso Bar has treats like pumpkin salted caramel streusel cheesecake and pumpkin cinnamon twists! Taste Patisserie offers desserts like salted caramel pumpkin tarts and more!

  7. Enjoy a Fall Trolley Tour - We offer a variety of tours, but in the fall I recommend taking a Trolley Ghost Tour or Trolley True Crime Tour. You won’t know whether the shivers and goosebumps are from the autumn chill or the chilling stories we tell!

As always, if you need help planning your perfect trip to Moose Jaw, our expert Visitor’s Centre staff are always happy to lend a hand! You can give us a call at (306) 693-8097, email us at info@tourismmoosejaw.com, or stop by our Visitor’s Centre at 450 Diefenbaker Drive!
