You might think that once August turns to September, tourist season is over and there isn’t much to do in Moose Jaw. I’ve got good news for you, because that is not the case! It’s easy to find something to do in Moose Jaw in the fall, especially if you’ve got us to help you!

Attractions:

  • Our Daytime Trolley Tours will be running on Thursdays and Fridays at 1:00 pm and 2:15 pm, and Saturday and Sundays at 1:00 pm, 2:15 pm, and 3:30 pm.

  • Our Cemetery Walking Tours will be running on Saturdays at 11:00 am.

  • Our Trolley Ghost Tours will be running on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30 pm and 9:45 pm.

  • The Tunnels of Moose Jaw are open from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm Sunday - Friday, and 10:00 am to 5:30 pm on Saturdays.

  • The Western Development Museum is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm everyday.

  • The Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery is open 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Tuesday - Friday, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm Saturdays, and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Sundays.

  • Battle Creek Adventure Park is open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm everyday.

  • Little Chicago Entertainment is open 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm Saturday, and 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm Sunday.

  • Moose Jaw River & Adventure Tours is open everyday from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Events

  • The Moose Jaw Homegrown Farmers Market will continue on Saturday mornings from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm on Langdon Crescent.

  • There are Clay Classes at artisaNGrounds on Thursdays from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

  • There is live music at Cask 82 most Friday and Saturday nights, check their Facebook page for more information.

  • There is live music at Bobby’s Place most Friday and Saturday nights, check their Facebook page for more information.

  • The Sukanen Ship Threshing Bee is taking place on September 9th and 10th.

  • Homestand 23 will be taking place at Ross Wells Park on September 9th at 5:30 pm with live music from Corb Lund.

  • The Moose Jaw Cultural Centre is hosting a Coen Brothers Movie Fest with Raising Arizona on September 14th, Fargo on September 15th, and The Big Lebowski on September 16th, all starting at 7:00 pm.

  • We’re hosting our annual Prohibition Days Trolley Pub Crawl on September 15th and 16th, tickets can be purchased at https://www.tourismmoosejaw.com/prohibition-days

  • artisaNGrounds is having a Two Year Anniversary Paint Party on September 15th at 6:30 pm.

  • The Little Chicago Show & Shine will be taking place on Main Street on September 16th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

  • September 16th is BMO Free Admission Day at the Western Development Museum from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

  • The Canadian Ranch Roping Finals will be held at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company on September 16th and 17th.

  • Hopkins Dining Parlour is having their 44th Anniversary Party on September 16th at 5:00 pm.

  • The Moose Jaw Warriors have their first home preseason game on September 16th at 7:00 pm, against the Brandon Wheat Kings.

  • artisaNGrounds is having an Autumn Paint Party on September 18th at 6:00 pm.

  • See The Gift: A Tribute to The Words & Music of Ian Tyson at the Mae Wilson Theatre on September 21st at 7:30 pm

  • The Saskatchewan Horse Federation Heritage Provincial Finals are taking place at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company on September 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.

  • There are Opening Receptions for Katherin Boyer and Ross Melanson at the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery on September 22nd at 7:30 pm

  • The Moose Jaw Warriors play their season opener on September 23rd at 7:00 pm, against the Brandon Wheat Kings. 

  • See Little Miss Higgins Live at the Mae Wilson Theatre on September 23rd at 7:30 pm. 

  • There’s an Opening Reception and Walking Tour for Wakšúpi: Lakota Beadwork on September 28th at 7:00 pm at the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery

  • The Second Annual Every Child Matter Powwow & Gathering will be taking place on September 29th and 30th and October 1st at the Western Development Museum

  • The Moose Jaw Warriors are playing the Brandon Wheat Kings at the Moose Jaw Events Centre at 7:00 pm on September 29th.
