Join us for MJPL Movie Club! We meet twice a month to watch a film and engage in a short discussion.
Movie: Tombstone
A thrilling re-telling of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, 1993’s Tombstone, directed by George P. Cosmatos, is one of the last icons of the western film genre. The story of Wyatt Earp and his brothers, Doc Holliday, and the Cowboys gang that occupies an Arizona frontier town has never been more vivid and interesting. The film stars an ensemble cast including Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott, Bill Paxton, Michael Biehn, and Powers Boothe.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 8:15.
Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre. For more information, contact the Library at 306-692-2787.
