WESTERN CANADIAN MOTORCYCLE SKILLS COMPETITION

  • 1235 Main Street North Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 1G3 Canada (map)

Miles Ahead Motorcycle Training is hosting the first annual Western Canadian Motorcycle Skills Competition on the weekend of July 8 and 9, 2023 in Moose Jaw, SK.

A $25 registration fee gives participants two timed runs at either an open or closed track course, two attempts at the slow race, and one attempt at a challenge course. Additional attempts at either the slow race or challenge course can be purchased on the date of the competition by making a $5 donation to the Moose Jaw Food Bank.

The open track division is geared towards those who have no formal training but would like a chance to experience a skills competition in a less demanding and challenging environment. The closed track division is for those who have some formal training and/or experience with motorcycle competitions or would like to participate on a more challenging course.

Saturday July 8th will be a practice session with scheduled times for registrants to familiarize themselves with the courses used for competition. Sunday July 9th will be the formal competition and award presentations. Spectators are welcome to attend the event free of charge; please bring a lawn chair. In addition, registrants who might like to brush up on their skills prior to the event are welcome to join our instructors who will be providing training and assistance on Friday, July 7th.

The competition weekend is planned during Moose Jaw’s Sidewalk Days, a family-friendly event filling nine city blocks with 200 unique vendors, live music, a Children’s Village and more. We are pleased to host an enjoyable and challenging competition for all registrants, but also offer the opportunity for a family get-away.

Please forward this invitation to any riders that you feel may be interested in participating in this year’s competition. To register please visit our website at www.milesahead.me. Thank you and we hope to see you there!

Please note:
1) All competitors must be licensed and wear appropriate riding gear.
