Adam and Jo are currently raising funds for travel expenses for their unborn baby, who is due in March! Their pregnancy was going great until around 20 weeks when the ultrasound showed some abnormalities with the babies heart. Their unborn baby was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart defect called, transposition of the greater vessels. This is where the Artie’s pumping blood to and from the heart developed in the incorrect areas and need to be reversed in order for the baby to survive. they need to attend monthly/biweekly appointments in Regina and Saskatoon during the rest of this pregnancy. They also will need to travel to Saskatoon for the birth, from there he will be air lifted to the stollery childrens hospital in Edmonton. They are trying to raise funds for the above mentions as well as bills back home (while in Edmonton) and possible living accommodations as they are currently on a wait list at Ronald McDonald house. The stay at the hospital could be anywhere between 9 days to 5 weeks. Any and all help during this trying time for mom and dad is greatly appreciated.
